  I was appointed Assistant Professor of Physiology and Behavioral Biology in 1970 and promoted to Associate Professor and Professor during the years 1975 - 1984. During this time I taught undergraduate and graduate classes in Animal Behavior, Comparative physiology, Human Physiology, Neurophysiology, Neuroanatomy, Histology, Electrophysiology, History of Medicine, and an interdisciplinary course in "Explorations of the Future". My administrative experience includes Chair of the Physiology and Behavioral Biology Department, service on the Academic Senate and related committees, Pre-Health Advisory Committee, etc.My research has been focused on neural correlates of learning, motivation, electrophysiology of sensory systems (especially audition), and applications of far-field of recording, such as the Auditory Brainstem Response. I am currently an Emeritus Professor of Biology and am no longer seeking employment.
