My 8 years of experience in the workforce has been a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. I've worked several types of jobs in different fields and have gained skills that I will use in all of my jobs in the future.I have worked in Retail, all the way to a Referee for youth soccer games.I've done 3 years in the service industry and 3 years in the retail field. I currently am in the Warehouse and Storage industry for a family-owned company based in Illinois. We store over 150 clients in our current warehouses and plan on securing more in the near future.Some of the skills I have obtained and learned are: -Leadership-Organizational Skills-Internal Auditing-Computer Hardware and IT Diagnostics-Customer Service-Empathic Accuracy (Reading People)This is only a handful but seemingly attractive skills that I have learned.I have graduated High School with a diploma. I was not the best in school because learning in certain manners don't work for me as they do others. I learn best when I'm hands on or "thrown in the deep end".I always figure out what job it is that I need to get done, and how to do it in the most efficient manner. Unlike high school, I'm extremely hard working and will always perform the best that I can, as long as I'm reminded of how much I've become an asset and important to a company or individual.
