As the lead communications analyst for Siebel’s Technical Services group my responsibility was to work with our channel partners to understand how they integrate with Siebel and then develop a focused set of communications materials that clearly communicated that integration. A typical project included technical white papers, technical sales briefs, and press releases. My first task was to build a process and clean up an extensive backlog of projects. Once that was completed I was required to get executive approval for the process and convey it to the Alliances organization. In addition, I worked with outside vendors to publish the material into a book-length publication.

Project managed and created the strategic direction for technical marketing related projects for companies as diverse as Big 5 accounting firms and high-tech communications developers. The role required strong project management and people skills, as well as the ability to quickly and effectively understand our customer’s complex technical and business climate.

I was responsible for producing technical and marketing material related to the company’s Web-analysis and collaborative filtering products. This required working with programmers and statisticians to understand how those products worked and interacting with the Web team to build effective communications materials.
