I currently work as a Manager of the Residential Life Wellbeing Service and University of Bristol - I have held this role for 4 years working as part of a large team to provide a 24/7 service for students in need of support, advice and information to meet wellbeing needs this has been a rewarding and challenging role . Previously I have worked in the voluntary sector as a specialist worker role within Barnardo's Research project looking into Harmful Sexual Behavior in Children and young people. This was a national research project. I have previously worked as a specialist worker with young people affected by Sexual Exploitation for over 11 years .I have extensive previous experience in Youth work/ Community Development / Mental Health / Substance Misuse Work/ Housing Work and have recently start to undertake training as a Counsellor. I have been chair of the NWG Young Men & Boys Workers Forum worked for many years in voluntary sector
