The Basics:John Adam is the firm's Managing Partner. He has been a lawyer since admission in 1979 and shortly thereafter in 1980 he commenced working at Marsdens.John initially practised in the litigation area in our Liverpool Office before taking over control of the office in 1982 specialising in commercial and property law.John became a Partner in 1985, was appointed Managing Partner in 1988 and is still in that position today. He is well qualified for this position as in addition to his law degree, he has a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and is also an accredited Risk Manager. John's strategic leadership of the practice has been instrumental to our development over the last 25 years.John's leadership skills have been demonstrated on both the sporting field and within the community. John played first grade rugby league for the North Sydney Bears between 1976 and 1984, captaining the team during 1981, 82 and 83. He was later a selector and then a member of the North Sydney Bears Board between 1995 and 2001. John was also the President of the Rugby League Players Association between 1985 and 1990 and still maintains a keen interest in Rugby League as a member of the Men of League.John is very active in local community organisations. He has been a member of Liverpool Rotary (since 1984), is currently Vice Chair of Mater Dei School and secretary of the Macarthur Club.John is married with four children (all girls) and has lived in the Macarthur area since his football career concluded in 1984. www.marsdens.net.auContact John on: jadam@marsdens.net.au Common Misspells: John Adams.
