I believe that innovations in biology and medicine could be the driving force of social and economic growth through the next 50 years. To achieve this we’ll not only need a new approach to the creation of affordable medicines, we’ll need a new approach to how we help patients get access to and optimally use those medicines.If we are going to have a role in helping patients receive the benefits of our medicines, we are going to have to earn a position on the ‘pit crew’ that is the patient’s healthcare team.My vision for pharma is of a world where:●pharma professionals are an integral part of the healthcare team. ●pharma professionals are trusted by patients, healthcare providers and payors for the value we bring to improved patient care. ●social good and corporate good are aligned and optimized.I’ll know we’ve succeeded when pharma not only believes that when patients comes first, everyone wins—we’ll know how to make that happen.My role in helping achieve this vision is to help pharma professionals achieve their business objectives by improving their patient- focused interactions with healthcare professional teams, and healthcare organizations.I will contribute to this by:●inspiring pharma professionals to join the patient-focused excellence movement, and by being a catalyst of patient-focused sales force effectiveness. ●providing tools which inspire, enable and train pharma professionals to serve differently and better.Learn more at www.excellerate.ca
