I developed an innovative and pervasive local youth ministry to high school and jr high school students that was led by up to 150 local volunteers in the DuPage County area and specifically at Wheaton College. Salt Co. (high school) and Light Co. (junior high) grew to involve over 2000 students a week and became the prototype for a nationwide student leadership training phenomenon led by YFC -USA called DC-LA (for filling up the two largest buildings in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles or 35,000 student leaders every 3 years for the last two decades now). More than 200,000 student leaders have been inspired by the student leadership experience that includes music, the creative arts and the most influential motivational speakers and teachers to train the student leaders growing up in the U.S. and abroad.
