Played a pivotal role in supporting system integration and testing for cutting-edge naval navigation systems while contributing to long-term support contracts for established customers and vessels. Responsibilities included performing intricate system integration and conducting factory acceptance testing for various navigation systems as well as assisting customers with operational vessels with remote system support and troubleshooting and software licensing.Performed the system integration and factory acceptance testing of the Integrated Bridge System (IBS) for the 4th Multi-Mission Surface Combatant variant of the Lockheed Martin Freedom class of Littoral Combat Ships. My responsibilities encompassed network troubleshooting, initial system configuration, sensor interface testing, and seamless integration of 3rd party hardware with OSI's software system, ensuring efficient navigation data distribution throughout the ships systems. Notably, I participated in the Factory Acceptance Test for the IBS, with representatives from Lockheed Martin’s Navigation Systems Engineering team, Quality Assurance, and the international program technical director for the MMSC program, alongside representatives from both the US navy and Royal Saudi Arabian navy. We achieved exceptional results within stringent timeframes and extensive scope.Additionally, I handled the system configuration and integration of the SEA1180 OPV class of Integrated Navigation Display Systems. Supporting fellow service engineers in the integration and acceptance off 6 ship sets simultaneously being tested.Spearheaded the initial setup and system configuration of the F126 IBMS classroom trainer systems.
