Over the last 30 years I have built a sizable financial planning practice in Manly. The firm now consists of two partners, six planners and six support staff. The people we have in the firm allows us to offer a diverse range of services including financial planning, SMSF establishment Insurance advice, share trading, actuarial services and home loans.In 2011 we embark on a huge project to build our own funds management capability which we have called Value Investment Partners (VIP). VIP allows us to be proactive with managing clients money through dynamic asset allocation, ie if you think a sector of the market is over priced or going down then sell it. By using and MDA structure we are able to move all clients at once which we believe is necessary in this volatile market. The clients have total transparency of their portfolio and to date we have been able to achieve our goals of providing a better than average return with less risk.We are looking to expand Manly Financial Services over the next twelve months by adding a new adviser with an existing client base.
