My desire is to bring my enlisted and blue collar approach to the white collar world of the financial services industry.Prior to joining IronBridge Wealth Counsel, I experienced many twists and turns long life’s highway. After graduating from High School, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While stationed in 29 Palms, I was meritoriously promoted from Lance Corporal to Corporal. After 4 years, I was honorably discharged and started working at Phelps Dodge Corporation. There I served a 4 year apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Pipefitter/Plumber/Welder. After 15 years at Phelps Dodge Corporation, I entered the financial services arena following my desire to assist people in their financial goals.I was born and raised in Morenci AZ., a small copper mining town of about 5000 people. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, I settled back in Morenci, married my wife Julie of over 30 years and we started our family. We are proud parents of our 2 successful adult children and we enjoy spending every minute we can with our three fantastic grandchildren.I graduated in 2015 from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Economics. I have the Series 7, 63, & 65 securities registrations and I am studying for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation. I am old enough that both sets of my grandparents lived through the Great Depression. They taught me many lessons about those years and the value of money. I use those lessons and apply them to assist my clients to help meet their goals and objectives in today’s financial world. I get the most satisfaction when my client says, “Thank you” when I educate them on the various products available that satisfy the current financial needs, and their desire to help their children and grandchildren.
