Between Britain's decision to leave the European Union, Yellen's interest rate announcements, and the ongoing news of the upcoming election, everyday life in the office was full of excitement.In my time at Cohanzick, LLC, I studied their three mutual funds and three alternative funds as well as researched several other investments made by both the group as a whole and individuals in the company. The investments I analyzed ranged everywhere from real estate with the KABR Group in Jersey City, NJ to cHarissa™, a start-up Moroccan condiment company based out of Cutchogue, NY. In between researching the specifics, I also focused on the general state of the global economy and the economies of individual countries, most notably the United States. For example, in an attempt to show investors that "...the credit statistics and future outlook do not compensate an investor to hold US Treasuries,"* and therefore that investments in Cohanzick offer better returns for the risk, I dug into America's current financials, compiled the data, created Excel spreadsheets, and analyzed whether or not the graphs proved this point.
