The Manger, Apprenticeship Program leads apprenticeship initiatives for Viega LLC. In partnership with the talent management team, this position manages the execution and maintenance of apprenticeship programs, apprentice applications and program progress, and apprenticeship-related partnerships across the United States. The successful candidate will influence the strategy and direction of apprenticeships across the business to build employee skills and abilities while providing a best-in-class employee experience.The Manger, Apprenticeship Program is responsible for coordinating strategies, partnerships, and programs that create, expand, and strengthen opportunities for the apprenticeship in diverse industries throughout Central and Southern Kansas. The Manger, Apprenticeship Program will create and oversee a portfolio of apprenticeship programs, coordinating programmatic activities with these industry partners. The Manger, Apprenticeship Program will also assist the VP, Manufacturing in designing and realizing broader strategic goals, such as incubating pilot programs and strengthening connections with industry partners.The Manger, Apprenticeship Program may have responsibility for any of the following areas such as K-12 programs, non-employee program oversight, systems and tools administration, training and talent acquisition compliance, diversity equity inclusion, and workforce programs. The Manger, Apprenticeship Program may include building, growing, and maintaining strong relationships with schools and the community, partnering with Corporate and other stakeholders, coordinating events, leading improvement projects, facilitating system needs and enhancements, executing compliance with audits and accesses. There will be data analytics, people connection opportunities and project management components to this role.
