This job was my introduction to sales.I had a territory in a city I was new in (Long Beach, California). It was scary, and exciting at the same time.Since I'm bilingual I was put in a predominately Latino neighborhood. The beginning is terrible. A lot of business owners hanging up on you. Closing their door on you when you visit in person.Eventually, these business owners admire your grit give you their business and become your friend.This group of friends became my network for more sales.The basics of business, I later learned.I left this job with amazing friends both in and out of the office, along with a few sales accolades.
