Memorizing every country in high school was my first dip into the field of foreign affairs. After I became aware of the plethora of cultures, languages, and identities prevalent around the globe, I harnessed a deep desire to better understand the relationships between different societies. As a result, I naturally gravitated towards majoring in International Relations, eventually receiving my BA in the subject. My love for history, politics, and philosophy only furthered my passion, and I was able to explore these fields of study at school while interning at both public and private organizations; both learning and working helped me paint the picture I saw in my dreams when it came to pursuing a career.At the moment, I have a strong attraction towards research and policy analysis for foreign affairs. I have a specialization in peace studies, global security, and conflict resolution, as well as vast experience using Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. With my ability to build relationships across boundaries, effectively communicate ideas, and analyze dynamic interactions within the global community, I can make a great impact in the field of international studies.
