For these three functional areas, created the annual financial plan, tracked and monitored results, analyzed all new initiatives to guide investment decision making and certified financial results. Verified all new technology and marketing investment initiatives through comprehensive, detailed benefit analyses.- Led the financial planning and development of the implementation plan for the convergence of 37,000 employee Verizon Business and Verizon Telecom network organizations. This included 1) the creation of the centralized technology management organization to drive the development of all new technology platforms and 2) operational synergies targeted to deliver $800 million savings over 5 years.- Worked with the Chief Marketing Officer to optimize corporate sponsorship and agency fees, the negotiation of $1.4 billion in annual video content costs and the business case development for 25 innovative corporately converged new products annually. - Achieved $600 million in annual payroll savings by demonstrating a shift towards a fully integrated international workforce would maintain product and service quality standards.- Reduced IT cost as a percent of revenue from 3.4% to 2.9%, executed the sale of the Verizon Airfone business and helped lead the creation of the Verizon Patent and Licensing company.- Led the establishment of annual risk assessments, compliance work plans, training compliance programs and SARBOX deliverables for the CIO, CTO and CMO organizations and certified their accounting controls and financial results

Accountable for the $7 billion capital budget, the $4 billion network operations budget, the $3 billion FiOS expense budget and the $800 million telecom inventory. Developed the annual strategic plan, business plan and competitive market analysis for the telecom business.- Developed and drove the $23 billion FiOS Business Case.- Drove and delivered FiOS results, with EBITDA positive during the year the business case originally projected. Created the comprehensive FiOS Profitability Model and Metrics that drove business focus on key results drivers such as subscriber economics, pricing strategy/bundle offer analysis, franchise evaluation, build economics, ARPU drivers, customer acquisition cost optimization, comprehensive operational productivity analysis and detailed asset scorecards.- Drove the key analysis and decision making that allowed Telecom to reduce spending on the legacy network so that the FiOS network could be built.- Received the Chairman's Bonus Award for development of the FiOS Business case - 2003.

- Accountable for developing the Strategic Plan, Business Plan and Competitive Market Analysis for Bell Atlantic.- Received the Bell Atlantic Chairman's Award for competitive analysis which changed the Co's strategic direction in 1993.
