This effort had failed multiple times over the past 10-15 years but this time we were successful in getting Council to pass the ordinance. This was due primarily to the factual documentation and research I had done and the presentation made to the Council.

After consulting with the company for a brief period, was asked to assume leadership role on a full-time basis. Worked with board and investors, established a plan to return company to positive EBITDA by tightening expense and inventory controls and refining assortments to drive top line revenue gains. Developed and launched new website and other strategic initiatives to insure long-term consistent growth. Developed and implemented strategic plans, annual financial performance plans, and other metrics to insure we maximized results. Implemented new POS and financial system to drive higher returns and greater visibility to products and results. Executed a marketing strategy that positioned the company favorably against big box competitors and increased customer count and average transaction. Worked closely with owner and financial institutions to insure adequate funding of the business with controls to insure maximizing of inventory and control of cash.
