To analyse existing processes within services, and develop appropriate solutions for delivery through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and back office systems. To support the delivery of services using the CRM across all access channels.To develop processes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and associated technologies using knowledge of JavaScript, XML, CSS, SQL, SQL Server and .Net to support the development of the Council's Firmstep CRM to deliver services across all channels to the citizens of Warwickshire. Lead the data migration programme for the New Core Project to: Provide guidance and expertise in the field to all staff that have to participate in migrating data. In conjunction with the selected New Core implementation partners, be responsible for the planning of the data migration processes for the New Core Business Workstreams, to support the delivery of high-quality, robust and reliable services to the University. Work throughout the requirements gathering, scoping and design phases, to develop the data migration plans that address the specific needs of the systems and business process changes being introduced by the project. Work closely with the data workstream lead and programme management to ensure that data cleansing, data governance processes deliver pre-requisites for the data migration plan. Work closely with the testing lead and programme management to ensure that the data migration and test plans relate to the interdependencies between them. Determine requirements for any tools required to support the needs of the data migration plans. To provide expert guidance and advice relating to data migration activity to the IT, HR, Finance, BI and Change workstreams of the New Core project, other service owners and IT Services Application staff. Work with the IT workstream lead, other workstream leads and the selected solution implementation partner, develop and gain sign off for the New Coredata migration strategy and plans for all phases of the New Core systemreleases. Production of data migration plans including resource and budget planning. Ensure that the issue management process clearly interfaces with existingITIL service management processes on an ongoing basis (especiallyRequests for Change and Problem Management).

To take overall responsibility for and develop the technical service provision in the Centre and provide effective management and support of CPE's IT infrastructure and projects including e-learning provision. To provide specialist support and guidance and training to users at all levels.To provide specific project support for overseas developments and for DfE funded online courses, including the market assessment and provision thereafter of external web site presence and implemented Learning Management System to support provision of the online Modern Foreign Languages CPD course.To advise on and arrange for equipment retirement and disposal and to procure updated IT equipment under budgetary direction for staff in the Centre. To maintain a comprehensive IT hardware asset list to support this. To engage with corporate IT Services colleagues to provide an applicable software asset management and compliance system and processes to ensure legal and corporate compliance within the University.To attend external user groups and forums as required by the work demands of the Centre.

I lead and managed a team of software developers and support staff who provided the necessary IT support to keep the force' 170+ separate applications systems resilient and fit for purpose. I provided technical justifications and business cases justifying financial expenditure for new/replacement systems. I pro-actively researched both the internal (police) market and other public and commercial sectors for best practices and product. I was responsible for 3 portfolio-aligned teams of people (16 staff) subsequently realigned into functional areas (development and support). I motivated and developed individuals in my team so that they produced the best work they could in a supportive yet challenging environment.I worked closely with our Service Management and Help Desk functions to ensure that they had all necessary information and tools to maximise the chances of first-line support fixes for reported incidents. I scheduled 2nd-line support service involvement in Problem Management investigations and any applicable system changes required to achieve permanent fixes thereafter.I was responsible for a revenue budget (excl. salaries) of between £600K and £700K and a flexible capital annual expenditure of between £500K and £1.5M (depending on what projects were under way at any one time).I also managed the operational standby provision for all force applications, providing 24-hour cover for key systems and infrastructure.

Reporting to the Head of Computer Services, I was responsible for a team of 5 staff providing mainframe , workstation and micro-computer software for highway design, traffic engineering, TPP, traffic survey analysis and administrative support systems for the County Surveyors Department. This also involved extensive liaison with suppliers, central government departments and agencies and with other internal departments for the County Council.
