Plan and resource all training and air operations for a 900-man Armored Cavalry Squadron at the National Training Center. Concurrently, train 10 U.S. Army Brigade Combat Teams annually by providing the pre-eminent opposing force in the world and replicating a global, hybrid threat environment.

Attended the premier company grade officer professional military education course in the United States Army. Graduated the Maneuver Captain's Career Course in June 2014. Learned company and battalion tactics, staff operations, the military decision making process, and unit training management over six months of rigorous, academic study.

Executive Officer of a One Station Unit Training (OSUT) Cavalry Troop tasked with the sole responsibility of training and producing the Army's 19D Cavalry Scouts. Second in command, responsible for the maintenance and logistical support of three training platoons comprised of approximately 200 trainees and active-duty personnel. Serves as the Troop supply officer, responsible for managing government property in excess of 3.5 million dollars. Additional duties include Additional Duty Safety Officer, Arms Room Officer, Voting Assistance Officer, and HAZMAT and Environmental Compliance Officer.

Executive Officer and second in command of a 139-man Long Range Surveillance Company, consisting of three Long Range Surveillance Detachments, a Communications Platoon, an Operations Section, and a Sniper Section. Responsible for assisting the Company Commander in mission planning and accomplishment in support of a worldwide deployment in support of unified land operations. Responsible for refining, coordinating, and resourcing all Company training events and the long range training calendar. Responsible for coordinating with outside units and agencies as required for mission success. Plan and supervise Company sustainment operations, to include accountability and readiness of the Company's equipment called at over $25 million and maintenance of the Company's purchase accounts. Develop and maintain the Army values, Warrior ethos and the Ranger Creed.

Scout Platoon Leader in the 3rd Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment with a worldwide contingency in support of the Global War on Terror. Responsible for the training, health, welfare, discipline, morale, and professional development of 22 Soldiers and the support of their families. Accountable for the maintenance and readiness for government property and its respective equipment valued in excess of $6 million. Responsible for preparing the platoon for all facets of successful, sustained ground combat; for maintaining physical fitness and professionalism at all times; for instilling an attitude among subordinates conducive to achievement of high standards and increased education; and for providing an environment where Soldiers receive fair, equal treatment and are proficient in the combat systems. Additional duties include Physical Security officer, Arms Room officer, and CBRN officer.
