Taking a business break and seeing what’s next.Founder at Peoplefun where we built a games business and created word games such as Wordscapes with hundreds of millions of downloads and millions of active players worldwide. Peoplefun joined the Applovin family in 2018 and continues to decline and operate hugely successful games. Founded and helped recruit and assemble the leadership team that led Ensemble Studios to great success. The game studio created the Age of Empires series for Microsoft and positioned itself as a dominant player in PC gaming. Over 40 Million copies of the Age franchise games have been sold and it's one of the most awarded strategy series of all time. The leadership team eventually managed ES’s strategic acquisition by Microsoft.Started at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and left to form Ensemble, a consulting firm focused on custom software development. We grew Ensemble rapidly and landed it on the Inc. 500 list. It was acquired by USWeb and rode the internet wave to thousands of employees and billions in market capital until that same wave hit the beach hard and USWeb/MarchFirst crashed in 2001. USWeb identified early in the internet evolution that business strategy, marketing and technology expertise where all needed to capitalize on internet opportunities of the day. I served as Executive Partner responsible for the central US and Canada. I have served on numerous company boards, as a mentor at Tech Wildcatters and coached lots of youth basketball.
