As many of you may know, I was part of the early commercial roll-out of the THIA back in 2016 as its first Business Development Director. I was asked by one of the founders of THIA and a major Pueblo based Colorado Tiny House Builder in July 2016 (1-month before the 2016 Tiny House Jamboree) to come in and set-up some of the early goals and objectives of the association and to establish its early mission and vision statements and to put in place the steps necessary to establish the association and to implement and execute its initial industry activities. Part of the initial responsibilities I had included developing and hosting the first THIA Action & Impact National Conference before the end of 2016 to comply with the terms and conditions of the Assistance Grant that THIA received from the State of Colorado in 2016, (as part of the state’s BluePrint 2.0 program). From 2016-2017 I supported THIA with full exhibit booths set-ups at the re-located 2017 Tiny House Jamboree in Arlington, Texas, as well as the two Tiny House Festivals that were held in Colorado in 2017, (The Colorado Tiny House Festival as well as the Tiny House Living Festival).
