Primary mission enemy submarine search and destroy. •Deployed for 6 months to NAS Sicily in support of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) war effort, with air support from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). United States Presidential declaration of national emergency was issued given mobilization of the Serbian security forces and the Yugoslav Army. NATO Medal, and Kosovo Campaign Service Medal achieved for successful mission completion.•2001: Honorable Active Duty discharge to attend College and Medical School.•2001-2007: Inactive Ready Reserve Status U.S. Navy: Remained in IRR status in case of need for deployment for critical manning for wartime operations.
