I serve as Executive Director of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, a free and non-commercial three-day eclectic music festival presented annually in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. We bring 75 artists to six stages every year to celebrate American "roots" music and its many outgrowths.In my role, I support the work of our incredible production team and lead the organization’s strategic vision, administrative operations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.Previously, I was Managing Director of the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center, where I oversaw strategy, personnel and operations for one of the largest performing arts centers in the country.Select achievements from my career include:• Leading the War Memorial through the COVID-19 pandemic and its phased reopening• Securing and managing 61-days of production for Danny Boyle's “Steve Jobs” which was filmed at the War Memorial and generated $8M in local economic impact• Co-Commissioning the Bay Area Council Economic Institute’s “Arts and the Economy” report to advocate for increased funding of the arts sector as an economic driverOutside of work, I remain involved in the San Francisco theater community. My work has been seen in the National Queer Arts Festival, PortFringe, Edmonton Fringe, and the New York International Fringe Festival, as well as at venues including Brava Theater Center, The EXIT Theatre, and Bindlestiff Studio.I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/Creative Writing with a Minor in Theatre from San Francisco State University, where I studied playwriting and directing.My key areas of expertise include:Strategic Planning | Revenue Generation | Financial Planning & Analysis | P&L Management | Theater & Performing Arts | Community Partnership DevelopmentI look forward to connecting with you!
