• Team lead, architect, and developer for our new Joystick Controller Services which my team produced primarily in C#. The front ends were developed using the MVVM pattern. WCF was utilized to perform all inter-process communication. C++ CLI was used to integrate with DirectX compatible joysticks.• Scrum Master for the Prism development team.• Designed and implemented a recovery tool for our DVR product. Built the recovery tool in C++ utilizing COM with a command-line and C# front-end.• Redesigned and implemented an entirely new permissions interface using C++ and MFC.• Team lead, architect, and developer for our award winning goEntry user interface implemented using Adobe Flex technology with Event Driven Architecture and the Model/View/Controller pattern.• Redesigned and implemented the goEntry embedded board-side web service interface and database using gSOAP, SQLite and C.• Created an automated build system for goEntry using the Python scripting language utilizing GCC on Linux.• Helped architect and design new video recording and retrieval services for our Network DVRs. These services are the core of our Network DVR's functionality.• Created video device drivers to communicate and integrate with the SkyPoint video recording software using COM, C++, and C#.• Using C++, GDI+ and COM, designed and implemented a 2D drawing library. The library was then integrated into our intelligent video (motion detection, people counting, etc) configuration platform.• Developed many OnGuard features including inter-monitoring communication protocols for features such as Alarm Forwarding, all done in C++ with COM and RPC.• Created an Unmanaged (C++ with MFC) to Managed (Managed C++) framework with an interface code generator to allow our unmanaged user interfaces to communicate seamlessly with our new managed infrastructure and database layer.• Took ownership of our source control system which led me to become our Perforce Administrator.

• In Visual Basic, engineered and developed a plugin based data translation tool which was so extendable, it was ported for use in multiple products.• Added historical data applications that integrated with our main historical recording and processing system.• Created 3 scheduling servers using Visual Basic ActiveX controls with a Visual C++ subsystem all incorporating COM technology to communicate with an external event server.• Created utilities to improve developer performance including a “quick register” toolbar to allow a developer to drag and drop COM files to quickly register them.
