Feifei Qian to characterize the mechanical properties of crusted regolith using direct-drive robotic actuators for applications in space exploration and robotic mobility.- Controls and hardware advisor for the development of a waterproof, modular 8-DoF quadruped field robot.- Conducting field research in White Sands National Park and Mt. Hood, Oregon for robotic sensing of crusted and icy regolith in coordination with 22 researchers from OSU, UPenn, Texas AMU, Georgia Tech, and Temple.- Designing waterproof, compact, high-current DC electronics assemblies and a lightweight, portable field mount for the Traveler robotic actuator, with an integrated camera system and IMU.
