Responsible for running the highly client focussed Digital Services division of Applied Image technology. Delivering high quality template solutions, running the companies large format printing bureau and managing all aspects of high quality bespoke typeface design and development projects. All based around maximising the clients brand integrity.

Responsible for running the Digital Services part of the business. The majority of our projects were based around custom typeface design and development. This is where John was able to really develop his passion for fonts and typographic design, including working with, and helping to develop some of the early digital font design production tools.

Producing digital fonts, creating some of the first digital font libraries using the Ikarus type development system – working here John developed a real passion for type, from the intricacies of font design, through to crafting some of the earliest digital fonts.
