The British Football Academy (BFA) is an elite level developmental football academy for young boys (14-18 years old) from the townships near Durban, and beyond.

ReadDillon Ltd is an international campaigning, corporate communications and political consultancy, specialising in sub-Sahara Africa, Britain and the Middle East.

During this time, I was MD of the Corporate Division within Hill & Knowlton's office in London. H&K is one of the world's largest communications consultancies. My clients included: De Beers; HRH Princess Haya of Jordan; London 2012 Olympic Bid; the Rugby Football Union; The Football Association and Sport England.

Responsible for the England team media relations, political lobbying, crisis management, internal communications, diplomatic relations, corporate marketing, the ECB’s website and for drafting speeches for the Chairman/Chief Executive. Major achievements:• Ran a three year political lobbying and media campaign in collaboration with the FA, LTA and RFU to convince The Treasury of the need for Mandatory Rate Relief for Britain’s 110,000 community amateur sports clubs (CASCs). This was achieved in September 2003, saving amateur cricket clubs £14m per annum. • In 2003, my department was responsible for launching and marketing the-then brand new fast-moving Twenty20 format, which was invented by the ECB to attract a new/younger audience to cricket - we won the Sports Industry Award 2004 for Best promotion of a sport by a Governing Body. Twenty20 has since become an international cricketing phenomenon.
