Asia-Region Fi Trading Product Manager, And Bloomberg E-Bond Product Manager

Designed and coordinated implementation of the Bloomberg e-Bond platform for the MAS and their Primary Dealers, as part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore's engagement in the Asia Bond Market Initiative (ABMI). The platform provides market-wide price-discovery, combining executable limit orders and multi-dealer RFQ capability, along with trade reporting, market analysis tools, firm-wide price-making solutions, integrated trade capture capabilities, and regulatory oversight tools. Successfully tendered with the HKMA for their Electronic Trading Platform (ETP) initiative, and added Inter-Dealer-Broker (IDB) engagement for electronic and voice-assisted limit order communication, display and execution, as well as IDB, inter-dealer and dealer-to-client voice trade confirmation/notification. Submission to the HKICL clearing house for bonds was also included, along with additional market oversight and reporting features for the regulator. Over this period we also deployed the e-Bond platform in conjunction with local market authorities and market participants in many other countries including Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and also the Phillippines, where we were selected as the inter-bank swap platform by the Bankers Association of the Phillippines (BAP). The second-generation e-Bond front-end (FIQ <​go>) is now used for quote display and trading in additional markets, including Australia & New Zealand.During this period I had the opportunity to engage regularly with the various regulators and market authorities with regard to market development, and licensing and development of our FI products.
