I am a commercial litigator representing clients in state and federal courts throughout Alabama and Mississippi. I enjoy helping clients solve the difficult problems that come with being involved in a lawsuit, but I know that, for my clients, litigation is far more likely to be an expensive interruption of the business they are meant to pursue, and not something to be enjoyed. For that reason, I focus on taking a creative and proactive approach to each case from the beginning, because even familiar litigation problems often can most efficiently be solved with new strategies.I am the co-leader of Jones Walker's insurance coverage litigation team. We regularly advise clients with respect to pre-litigation insurance coverage issues and provide effective representation in insurance-related litigation, focusing on obtaining the best possible results with the highest level of efficiency. I have also represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex state and federal litigation, including matters involving professional liability, commercial contracts, toxic tort, products liability, mass tort, personal injury and wrongful death, and trucking.Since 2013, I have served on the Editorial Board of the International Risk Management Institute’s CGL Reporter and Insurance Law Reporter as these leading publications in the field of insurance coverage have transitioned to and even more up-to-date online format. I regularly contribute articles and analysis to these publications, providing insight and practical analysis to industry leaders concerning important developments in insurance coverage from jurisdictions across the country. I am a member of the ABA's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee and past speaker at its annual conference.
