I was a founding member of the Wholesale Financing product team, a finance product to provide working capital finance to brands who sell in brick and mortar retailers.I was tasked with developing the underwriting process and strategy for the product, with the team growing from two employees to over 20 employees across sales, product, underwriting and more. We have advanced millions to customers over the last 18 months, with the product officially launching in March 2024.

I have spent over 4 years working as a financial & business analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions space analysing companies as part of due diligence processes. My role involves analysing the financial performance and operations of companies, building financial models which capture their past and predicted future financial performance and writing reports which provide an in-depth view of the business with particular focus on key value drivers, trading performance and quality of earnings, working capital, KPIs, trends in the business. I have worked on due diligence assignments across many industries including technology, healthcare, manufacturing and retail for financial buyers, private businesses and large plcs

Participated in UCC Ignite's early stage startup accelerator for 3 months full time

I ran UCC’s Student Managed Fund, a fund with €10,000 under management which was sponsored by Goodbody Stockbrokers. Our fund invested in long- only equities. My role included:o Approving investment decisionso Leading our pitch at the annual intervarsitycompetition against other Irish universitieso Managing the day-to-day activities of the Fund

I completed a 3 month summer internship in PwC Ireland’s Deals team. This involved:o Completing rotations within the transaction services, corporate finance and business recovery services departments with the wider Deals team
