Plan and implement nursing care, communicate significant patient changes to physician. Provide ongoing patient observation and assessment .Participate in treatment team and develop multidisciplinary treatment plans. Document accurate computer charting for nursing care. Provide technical support and training for computer documentation and charting (CPOE Team Member). Administer medications (PO/IM/SQ),therapeutic agents, perform phlebotomy and wound care. Conduct audits to prepare for inspections by JACHO and other governing bodies.

Deliver nursing care to 6-8 patients. Assess patients and notify physician of clinical changes. Coordinate delivery of nursing care with treatment team members. Assess need for higher level of care. Monitor for cardiac changes on telemetry patients. Medication administration and complete hospital admissions and discharges, develop care plans and perform patient education. Perform IV therapy.

Perform TB and Hepatitis A risk screening. Plan, organize and conduct water born disease surveys for at risk rural Blount County residents. Teach disease prevention. Obtain lab samples and specimens such as blood, urine, soil and water for diagnostic testing. Ensure code compliance for ground water, well water and on-site septic disposal fro Blount County Tennessee.
