Work History BackgroundAfter a successful and rewarding career of 30+ years my wife and I decided to relocate from Carlsbad, CA to the Austin area to be near our son and grandchildren. Additionally, our youngest son was completing his junior college and set his sights on attending Mays Business School at Texas A&M. At that time, I formed an LLC and began consulting in commercial real estate asset management upon leaving The Price Group in August of 2016. At Price, I repositioned a 500,000-sf lifestyle center and concluded my assignment when the property was sold in 2016. Beginning in August of 2016 and until the advent of Covid in 2020, I consulted with various clients on a single asset (Outlets at the Border) and a portfolio of four (4) regional malls for Brixton Capital. Outlets at the Border was a distressed asset that operated under various ownership/agents including The Shamrock Group, Coast Commercial Ventures and Kidder Matthews. Due to negative cash flow, Outlets at the Border went into bankruptcy and is now owned and operated by Simon Properties. During the period between Covid and our move to Texas, I chose not to reengage my consulting activities, with the exception of consulting with a technology group known as Smart City Labs.. I chose to focus on our move to Texas, helping our son get into Mays Business School and taking care of family health issues. I am now living in the greater Houston area, and I am excited about leveraging my expertise to add value in the commercial real estate industry.

Impact Player ‐ Responsible for procuring a 3rd party developer and hotel management group through RFP process for the development of 3‐acre, $80M mixed‐use development. This addition increased asset density, enhanced leasing initiatives and increased property NOI.The development included 230 upscale apartments, Aloft Hotel, convention space, retail and parking. Day-to-day responsibilities included asset management, leasing, marketing, accounting, repositioning and development of Newport on the Levee (Newport, KY), a 500,000-sf leisure and entertainment center overlooking downtown Cincinnati, OH. Also coordinated weekly staff meetings with corporate and on-site managers with the goal of optimizing day-to-day operations.

Combined assets were 6 million+ sf producing a combined NOI of over $54 million.Sr. General Manager - Galleria at TylerIntercompany transfer between GGP managed properties. Played integral role in the coordination of $85 million remodel including a 16-screen AMC Theater, PF Chang's, Cheesecake Factory and other out‐parcels. I began my commercial real estate career in shopping centers in 1988 working for San Diego-based The Hahn Company. The Hahn Company and its’ assets were eventually purchased in 1998 by Trizec based in Toronto, Canada. The US operating company was re-branded as Trizec Hahn.
