NetDynamics (acquired by Sun, July 1998) was one of the pioneers of the Application Server market, building the entire product on the Java platform.I was responsible for the Object Framework, a framework for building web applications on the NetDynamics Application Server. With the introduction of Java Servlets and Java Server Pages specifications to standardize web-based Java development on application servers, I created the first Servlet engine on NetDyanmics and collaborated directly with the Java JSP team to integrate the reference implementation of the JSP engine on top of the Servlet engine.
