After many years of working at Krogers, I was able to accelerate to the role of a Leader at the largest store in Kentucky. In this role, I delegated daily tasks to associates and managed vendors to ensure products arrived in the store on time, all while keeping the budget of the department in mind to minimize shrink. In this role, I delegated daily tasks to associates and managed vendors to ensure products arrived in the store on time, all while keeping the budget of the department in mind to minimize shrink. It was completely different from anything I had done before but I was excited at the challenges this role gave me and all the things it helped me learn. As a leader, I developed my skillset in how to maintain relationships with other leaders and associates while also keeping everyone's contentment in mind. If it wasn't for this opportunity, I don't know if I would have excelled as much in becoming a more confident leader. Show less
