It was a topsy-turvy path that I found myself engaged in the coffee Industry, repairing, modifying and rebuilding high-end espresso machines. Ten years of cuts, burns and electrocutions, I found myself looking for a new path. What I found out about myself is that I loved problem solving. Nothing was better than the result of the resolution, no matter how difficult it was to get to that point. After a short consultation with my 14 year old niece, I came to the conclusion that computer programming might be right for me. After months of research and consideration, I found my way to Actualize. It's been an eye opening experience. Coding is truly the language of the future. Understanding what goes on under the hood of web development and software has been truly up-lifting, and is definitely an essential tool to have in my tool belt. The industry also seems fitting to my general interests and strengths. I enjoy working on big picture projects and I strive when I can work and strategize with peers and co-workers.
