I work to create custom integrations between various solutions designed, implemented, and/or monitored by STEP CG. These most commonly involve interfacing with REST APIs to tie disparate systems together. I additionally work with containerizing applications, orchestration of those containers, managing Linux servers via Puppet, and web application development.

I work as an Integration Engineer leveraging Turbonomic's REST API to create custom integrations with platforms required by our customers. Solutions are most commonly written in Python or PowerShell depending on the integration and delivered as either a Kubernetes deployment running alongside Turbonomic or a standalone script.Additionally, I assist with the maintenance and upkeep of Turbonomic's Python library, vmt-connect.

I managed the Integration and Support Services team as a DevOps, integration, and automation engineer. I defined the direction of the team with respect to APIs to focus on, operational priorities, and incident response. I assisted other members of management to define our managed services and outlined which metrics can be used for monitoring. I created and managed code leveraging REST APIs to link NetCloud Manager, Extreme Cloud IQ, Cylance, LibreNMS, rXg, Office 365, and more into LogicMonitor for centralized monitoring and reporting. I also worked with LogicMonitor, PyGal, and Power BI for data visualization.Additionally, I worked as a cloud services administrator for Office 365, G Suite, Zoho, and others with a deep specialization in email and security. I used Azure AD for IDM and SSO, leveraging it for authentication with platforms such as LogicMonitor, Lucidchart, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, and Cylance. I was responsible for the health and upkeep of the company's LibreNMS-based local monitoring and backup solution.

I work to support and maintain the Active Directory, Office 365, AD DNS, and DHCP environments. The locally hosted AD infrastructure is handled by Windows Server 2012 R2 (minimal UI) virtual machines running Windows Server 2012 R2 hosts, with virtualization done via Hyper-V. The supported AD infrastructure spans 181 domains across 547 servers. The on premise servers are complimented by 183 Server 2012 R2 (minimal UI) VMs in the Azure IaaS cloud.In Office 365 I support approximately 900,000 users. PowerShell is used heavily throughout the environment both for tasks against AD DS as well as one of the main administrative interfaces to Office 365 for both Exchange Online and Azure AD. I also support Lync Online and SharePoint Online, the environments for which span all K-12 across the state.When necessary, I also do occasional work with scripting or programming, typically in PowerShell or C#.

I also performed scripting in PowerShell to manage administrative tasks across the company's environment. This included a project which resulted in code to calculate the duration of time machines in the environment were asleep so as to be able to calculate the cost savings via decreased power consumption.
