I established an innovative new Product Operations function. Using Lean Agile development methods the team delivered service innovations that transitioned products from early incubation to scale. Key growth products Telstra SmartHome and Telstra Platinum In-Home Services achieved >$90m revenue with EBIT >$15m, followed by a pipeline of product innovations.

In this role I led the strategy creation and execution of a successful business turnaround in Telstra’s Customer Service Delivery division. This division undertook customer activations, installation, and fault fix for Telstra's major products. The division had five lines of business comprising of over 18,000 staff and an annual operating budget in excess of $1.4Bn.

Over five years I led creation of the 3 year market strategies and revenue plans. My team then created and drove execution of successful "in year" demand generation programmes for this portfolio of Telstra’s enterprise focussed "Network Applications & Services" products. These strategies and programmes successfully secured; increases in market share, and achieved annual revenue targets in excess of $4bn.

Within the SME focussed Telstra Business division I was sought out to lead various roles in defining segment marketing strategies, research programmes and market demand generation programmes across Mobiles, BroadBand and IP/Data portfolios. Significantly, I led the development of the innovative All4Biz Plans that achieved substantial increases in multi-product holdings across the segments.

I was twice awarded Telstra Product Manager of the year (2003 & 06) for successfully conceptualising, developing and executing the Telstra IP Telephony (TIPT) product to market. A brand new technology and product category that has earned Telstra in excess of $2.5bn in new revenues since launch in 2003.
