Work with team members to formulate the tactical plan to meet the goals and direction of the Platform Operations teamDevelop documented repeatable processes that support business needsDevelop shared knowledge of leveraged tools on the Platform Operations team, eliminating single points of knowledgeDrive continuous improvement of operational controls on the platforms managed by the team such as Payment Processing Platforms.Drive compliance and security efforts related to applications and tools managed by the Platform Operations teamDevelop and maintain installation and configuration procedures, and drive automation around these areasSkills:Understanding of Microsoft and Red Hat Linux server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, IIS, Satellite, basic administration and troubleshooting)File Transmission and Job scheduling softwareExperience with file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPS, SFTPExperience with a scripting language (PowerShell, Bash and Python)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAnalytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system problems

Responsible for assisting in the support of custom applications, implementing packagedapplications, monitoring critical logs, and working directly with users to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding custom applications and systems issues. Follow-up with users and support staff as needed on requests and problem tickets. Reporting and follow-up for service management, including incident management, problem management, and release management. Liaison among users, technical support and development teams. Work directly with the technical and development teams to resolve issues. On-call production support and maintenance required for support of all applications.

• Windows Server 2000 / 2003 /2008 administrations• Windows 2003 & 2008 Servers deployment and Configuration• Managing hardware issues and changes on Dell and HP Servers• NetBackup support• Managing IIS 6.0 / IIS 7.0 Web servers and hosted web sites.• Root cause analysis and fixing the Windows / IIS Web Server Related issues.• Building the servers. Installation and Configuration per specifications required• Checking and fixing the permission issues. • VMware Server Administration• Managing Virtual Servers -- Virtual Infra Client & VMware ESXi Server• Troubleshooting the VM machines using Virtual center • Cloning and troubleshooting VM ESX hosts and guest servers.
