After graduating from Columbia College Chicago, I have worked in advertising design and marketing in Kankakee County since 2000. I have been involved with print, web and video production, following through on a multitude of marketing projects from the creative inception to the finished product. Now, as a self-employed graphic artist, I have the flexibility.

Hired to assist the director of strategic marketing to implement and manage multiple web sites, I worked directly with developers and programmers to oversee completion of a new corporate web site. As the site administrator, I wrote, edited and uploaded copy related to news and events for the corporate site and 30 plus facility sites. I managed the Word.

Hired to assist the Vice President of marketing in a position created for me, I was challenged to revitalize the look of all printed materials and corner costs by completing a wide range of creative projects in-house. I designed a variety of printed pieces from corporate newsletters to product brochures, logos and full color ads that have appeared in.

I Conceptualized, designed and produced print and electronic materials produced by the Office of Marketing and Public Information. On a team of print and web designers, copywriters and marketing coordinators, I produced design layout and graphics using Adobe software for digital imaging, illustration, and graphic design for projects such as departmental.

I quickly learned Quark Express to layout ads, Photoshop and Illustrator to manipulate and prepare graphics for printing. I Conceptualized and designed gray scale and full color ads for the newspaper on a team that included designers and sales representatives. Duties included scheduling ad placement, checking negatives and proof checking the daily paper. I.
