Hired to assist the director of strategic marketing to implement and manage multiple web sites, I worked directly with developers and programmers to oversee completion of a new corporate web site. As the site administrator, I wrote, edited and uploaded copy related to news and events for the corporate site and 30 plus facility sites. I also excelled in creating Keynote and Power point presentations for meetings and events of all sizes including many potential customers and major trade shows.With a basic knowledge of Dreamweaver and Flash, I designed the web graphics for a total web site transformation and started an online newsletter that became the basis of the news section on the new site. I also assisted with the preparation and publishing of a quarterly trade magazine and served as the on staff photographer shooting an array of promotional and human resource subjects.As well as supporting the Peddinghaus sales team and most departments company wide with print and electronic materials, I was given the challenge of creating and producing product videos. This included creating the basis for a complete Mac Pro video production studio. Using a Canon XLA1 HD Camcorder and Final Cut Pro Studio, I shot extensive machine tool videos in many settings. I quickly learned Quark Express to layout ads, Photoshop and Illustrator to manipulate and prepare graphics for printing. I Conceptualized and designed gray scale and full color ads for the newspaper on a team that included designers and sales representatives. Duties included scheduling ad placement, checking negatives and proof checking the daily paper. I helped to manage huge archives of all the teams work for future use.
