One of my varied roles at Broadsure Direct involves office administration, filing, stationary orders, answering the phone, greeting customers and personal assistant work for both Management and the Company Director.Alongside this, I also deal with complaints, insurance quotations and amendments, updating insurance databases and liaising with Brokers.I also installed software packages such as Microsoft Office, Java and remote computer access software onto colleagues computers.Every day was different and involved sometimes leaving the office to liaise with customers, or fetch office items or money that may be required.I was also in charge of a list of customer accounts and I am responsible for phoning and dealing with insurance companies and customers all over the UK.I worked closely with our marketing team in order to generate new business and prospective leads and assisted the Company Director frequently with various support roles.The Sales department at work depended on my experience of liasing with a variety of people, both on the phone and face to face, to deal with any issues or upcoming challenges that existing or potential customers may have.I could be dealing with a complaint one minute and then be on the phone to an insurer in London the next depending on what is asked of me, and I am the only staff member in the business who has this authority.After starting in the Administration team in 2015, I have gained a wealth of knowledge that I can use and depend on at a moments notice, be it clerical or otherwise already noted.I am proud of what I have achieved, especially working in the sink or swim environment I have known for the last few years and look forward to my next challenge.
