CurrentCarolina Forest Southeast, LLC is one of Southeast U.S. largest investment holding groups of standing timber, biomass, forest products, land development, and preferred dealer of forest products supplying local and export markets. At Carolina Forest LLC responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following duties.• Grow and lead a start-up team, serving a forest products brokerage company.• Develop and implemented policies and for successful operations. • Skillfully procure contracts with preferred mills and fostered growth. • Secure and managed all financial aspects of a new company.• Supervise more 100 employees for a profitable forest product brokerage company. • Develop new and innovative techniques for harvesting forest products. • Implement new techniques for wood use (biomass, fuel chips, etc.).• Discover and procure new global markets (export log, fiber, fuel, biomass, etc.)• Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements and contracts for forest harvesting.• Procure timber from private landowners, government agencies, other timber companies, etc.• Contact local forest owners, gain permission to inventory, type, and determine values.• Led the appraisal teams and insured due diligence from legal counsel. • Sample and determined standing timber volumes for current and future purchases.• Plan, supervise and instruct all harvesting operations to achieve production goals.• Manage all activities for forest product Brokerage Company.
