In this role there is a strong reporting and 3270 terminal automation emphasis which require expertise in SQL and VBA respectively. It is also part of my responsibilities to build and maintain several tables which are utilized with the reporting packages which I also maintain on a daily basis.

In this position I am required to partner directly with our clients with the goal of executing large scale and complex projects. These particular projects are high-profile in nature and require adherence to tight timelines. Oftentimes I am required to pull together resources from multiple internal departments in order to overcome barriers in the pursuit of reaching our deadlines on time. Of course a great deal of this position requires a depth of product knowledge to ensure all relevant avenues are covered.

As a client services manager I was responsible for a team of Account Specialists dedicated to servicing Comcast. Aside from providing analytical and managerial assistance to my team, I also helped them with their growth as employees of CSG Systems. I would encourage them to reach outside of their 'comfort zones' to become more proficient with our product and more confident with providing our client guidance. As a result, most mastered their positions and would commonly move onto other greater opportunities at CSG.

With this position I assisted our clients to maximize the capabilities that they had at their disposal with the CSG product suite. I worked with clients to survey their business needs, generate requirements, and ensure the timely execution of deliverables. A strong system knowledge and excellent project management skills were critical to successfully carrying out the duties of this position. Among my many experiences as a consultant with CSG , I had performed a great deal of work writing and updating 3270 emulation macros using mutiple VBA editors. Some of my assignments required me to relocate for lengthy periods of time. For example, I relocated to Chicago for 18 months to work directly with Ameritech New Media. I also spent 8 months living in Denver working with Dish Networks.

During this period of my employment with CSG I learned a great deal about the product and became confident and proficient with the skills I developed. From being responsible for complex addessability support for our largest clients to testing the accuracy of future software releases and finally speciallizing in our ACSR GUI-based product gave me the skills and self-assurance to go onto becoming a consultant.
