CurrentSupported the Instructional Services Unit at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), providing training support to a portfolio of capacity-building programs including:• Pre-deployment training (PREP) to ensure contracted U.S. advisers deploy prepared to succeed in their INL missions overseas• International Police Peacekeeping Operations Support (IPPOS) train-the trainer program for local training cadres tasked with training Formed Police Units (FPU’s) deploying to United Nations peacekeeping operations• International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) train-the-trainer program for Iraqi police officers.• Corrections curriculum designed to bolster correctional capacities of international prison officials according to the United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners (Nelson Mandela Rules)Created tools to accurately collect and analyze training data • Analyzed INL PREP training results and made evidence-based changes to the training materials, leading to a 5% increase in knowledge growth among participants• Authored summative evaluation tools in use by IPPOS• Designed evaluation tools for U.S. Department of State’s Antiterrorism Assistance Program (ATA)
