I am an experienced Materials Manager and Manufacturing Supervisor with over 16 years management experience in a wide variety of manufacturing environments including Automotive Supply Chain Management, high volume Food Packaging, state of the art specialty printing, as well as the design and build construction industry.My work experience includes full responsibility for a Materials Management team of up to 30 people engaged in Materials Management, Production Control, Planning, Scheduling, Logistics and Warehousing in fast paced manufacturing and distribution systems.Throughout my career I have gained expertise and excelled in modern management systems employing techniques and standards such as Standardized Work, 5S, Kaizen, ISO9000, HACCP (system of Quality Assurance specific to Foodservice) as well as advanced knowledge of all common office systems. (Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista), MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).I also have gained a specific knowledge base of common and specialized MRP systems including SAP Enterprise Resource Planning Software, , AS-400, Visual Manufacturing ERP, Oracle, and NPIC(Chrysler’s Inventory Control System) to create budgets, sales forecasts, purchase raw materials and schedule production as well as manage inventory through out the supply chain from cradle to grave.Specialties: My particular skill is improving functionality across different departments through process improvement and implementation.as well as managing people.
