I am a young and eager professional within the transportation industry that is always looking for a new challenge. I currently have had my title of Inbound Supervisor at Old Dominion Freight Line's New Haven, CT location for two years, while being with the company for a total of 3 years. During my tenure, I have:- Remapped territory location which has created an efficient route planning operation- Reduced claims and returns through enforcing picture program and setting up routes to ensure freight is delivered on time and damage free - Increased platform production & efficiency through adjusting shift schedules according to work demand and staffing shift with the needed amount of people- Increased safety through enforcing the use of PPE and doing daily checks on equipmentI grew up in the industry as a child, as my family has been drivers/mechanics for generations. I myself was a diesel technician with Boring Transport when I was in high school and college for two years, adding a wider range of knowledge in transportation and cost control.Growth has always been a goal of mine, whether it be personal growth or growth within others. I strive to create my workplace better and more enjoyable in such a stressful and fast-paced environment. With my current crew, you can find me on the grill during free time cooking a whole variety of foods that my crew loves and they always look forward when they see me walk onto the location with a load of groceries.Outside of work, I am an avid outdoorsman who is a strong advocate for environmental issues and wildlife conservation. When I lived in Pennsylvania, I used to volunteer clearing trails to encourage safer hiking experiences for new hikers, stocked trout in local waters, and usually spent my time cleaning up local woods from trash.
