I'm first and foremost a steward of our mission to support the physical and emotional well-being of children with diabetes, and those who care for them. On a daily basis, I'm facilitating meaningful engagements within the diabetes community, working directly with newly diagnosed families, schools and providers. At Ally Financial (formerly GMAC) I led a team charged with developing and delivering an appropriate risk based control environment and governance process across the banking entity. This included:• Review and analysis of capital and liquidity management and reporting processes, systems and controls, including benchmarking against market practice and regulatory expectations. • Assurance over regulatory capital and liquidity calculations.• Development, review and update of ICAAP, including capital and liquidity planning and stress testing.• Capital and liquidity assessment in support of regulatory processes.

My career spans almost 20 years with HP/EDS and has provided me exposure to a diverse set of IT disciplines and insight into numerous industries. I have been assigned to some of EDS’ most important clients in roles designed to institute change, including the U.S. Department of Defense, ABN AMRO and General Motors. These assignments were highly visible and required a team that had solid experience analyzing and make strategic business decisions quickly.Before leaving HP, I was a member of the EDS Enterprise Service Management (ESM) team. At that time I was tasked with designing and implementing an ITIL-based, global capacity management process to support our goal of zero outages. I had specific interaction with American Airlines and Sabre in developing this plan.The majority of my career was spent in Business Analyst roles performing Systems Analysis, Design and Integration using both Waterfall and Agile Development methodologies. I managed numerous projects focused on business process improvements, system consolidation and conversions.
