A strategic HS&E role leading the development and implementation of HS&E policy, systems and assurance across NBN Co network operations nationally.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement corporate and functional strategy for Network Operations business to establish foundation culture, structure and systems for management of HSE risks.• Establish and develop internal HSE professional team to support NOPS business objectives.• Plan for and respond to HSE crisis, reputational issues and incidents• Develop and manage cross functional relationships with HSE, Quality, LASA , L&D, CTO• Build and implement contractor performance management and engagement processes, as well as build longer-term strategic relationships.• Mentor and support NOPS leadership team, including developing and implementing functional risk review, planning, reporting and escalation processes.• Establish Communications and L&D plans for the function.
