Serve as a Senior Engineer and Senior Hydrogeologist for a 20-member environmental consulting business. Write and review technical reports for site characterization, risk assessment, and remedial planning. Prepare air quality impact assessments, SPCC plans, and air and water remediation system designs. Oversee aquifer testing, soil and groundwater sampling, soil gas and indoor air sampling, and other environmental projects. Determine project needs, prepare cost estimates, provide oversight of site activities, analyze groundwater flow and contaminant data, research hydrogeologic conditions, calculate elevation surveys, and assess exposure pathways and risk from multiple phases of subsurface contamination. Interact with clients and regulators to direct projects through regulatory monitoring and cleanup programs. Prepare detailed color site plans, groundwater flow and contaminant contour maps, remediation system diagrams, well logs, and hydrographs. Coordinate and analyze groundwater pumping tests and rising head slug tests. Assist in training of office and field personnel. Responsible for creation and improvement of report formats, layout of technical content, and graphical formats and procedures.Interesting projects include creating Excel workbooks and macros to automate the analysis of large sets of raw pollutant and contaminant data and provide guided user interaction and simplified summary outputs. Input is systematically grouped and summarized, key statistics are provided for decision support, and output is formatted for reporting or automated input into third-party analytical tools. These tools have been created for interpretation of lead paint data; tabulation and screening of soil, water, and air data for characterization and risk assessment; and linked workbook sets for analysis and tabulation of risk calculations.

Performed large data-set analysis and reporting, and provided technical guidance for radon, lead, and asbestos projects. Designed and coded custom applications for project management, data storage and reporting, and other proprietary business needs. Performed all technology selection, purchases, installation, and configuration.
