I led Elsevier’s Acquisition programme through 2 key integrations – InferMed & SSRN, working closely with the commercial integration programme manager to ensure all acquisition goals and objectives were identified and met. It was essential that we deliver people, process, system & application integration across all systems and areas of the business within tight deadlines.1. Infermed [UK] NHS Medical Analysis Application - I worked out of Infermed’s Bedford Square, London Office to oversee their integration into Elsevier, subsequently relocating the business to Elsevier’s London Wall Office.2. SSRN [US] Social Sciences Publishing Framework - I worked between Elsevier’s London Wall office and SSRN in Rochester, New York to oversee their integration into Elsevier, subsequently relocating SSRN to new premises in Rochester.Business Integration - HR [Day 1, Recruitment, UK & EU TUPE], Legal [Contract, Trademarks, Patents, Data Protection], GTMN & Sales Operation, Purchasing, Facilities - Relocation of InferMed to Elsevier’s London Wall location.Server, System and Application integration - Migration of acquired software platforms/CRM/SharePoint to Elsevier’s AWS cloud, Delivery of Unified Communication systems to all new employees [userIDs, workstations, Office365 etc.Technology integration - Integration of the software development teams into Elsevier’s off-shore agile production environment. CSAQ security review of the development platform to meet Elsevier’s development standards, Re-branding and re-development of acquired platforms and products through year 1 of integration.

Aimia and Sainsburys ran a yearly programme to deliver the annual promotion campaign for Nectar, the UK’s largest loyalty programme. I oversaw delivery of the programme - technical and web integration, as well as the TV, Radio & Online marketing campaigns. Due to commercial agreements with partners VUE and Pizza Express it was essential that the campaign was delivered on July 1, 2015.

I took over a failing programme of work designed to transform the BMA’s legacy systems, applications & technology infrastructure, delivering MS System Centre and O365 to the BMA professional body and membership. I delivered 9 projects across the programme to transform their IT services and operations and deliver a new unified communication suite.Re-building the Programme- Reviewed all business cases within the programme to re-establish the programme structure.- Re-engaged with sponsors and senior stakeholders to establish a clear business scope and expectation.- Re-engaged with key external suppliers and key internal tech and TIO teams to ensure budget and resource availability still aligned with programme goals.- Built a new communication plan to engage and promote the project within the organisation.Deliver key infrastructure improvement- Established 6 key projects to deliver Microsoft System Centre as the core system for the BMA IT department to deliver systems, application, services and support to the organisation.- Led PMs, technical teams and external partners through design, planning, testing and deployment of system centre, ensuring BMA technical teams were trained in management and support of the systems once live.- Led the Infrastructure PMs in migrating the BMAs on-premise virtual server environment form VMWare to Hyper V and established a self-service server platform to internal customers.Deliver new Unified Communication- Led external partners and internal IT workstreams to establish and deliver the security, data and application server set for the new unified communication systems.- Worked with departments and divisions across the organisation to re-design processes and functions for the new platform.- Oversaw the Delivery of Outlook, O365 and Lync services throughout the BMA, with a key focus on training and acceptance through an ILT software platform.
