I was involved in the OTG Salford Relocation Programme, a big project involving the BBC moving it's Online Digital 247 Operations department from London to Salford. My main role was around the recruitment and training process for some 20 new roles. This included several trips up to Salford over a 12 month period where I carried out various assessment days, involving interviewing, carrying out tests and practical assessments so as to find suitable candidates. As these roles were fulfilled, the project required me to work on documentation, starter packs, provide relevant training plans and mentor these individuals, so as to achieve a successful transition into their new role within the set time frame.During this project, my input was given in a number of areas including the delivery for a bespoke 24/7 Monitoring Wall for Broadcast and Online streams. This project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
