John holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and a MS degree in Systems Engineering, both from San Jose State University. With over 30 years of experience in the electrical interconnect field specializing in sealed electrical cable systems, he has held positions in Product Design, Application Engineering, Materials Testing, Harness Design and Assembly and Product Management for Raychem Corporation and currently TE Connectivity. John was the subject matter expert (SME) for heat shrinkable polymers and product lines for the Aerospace Defense and Marine division of TE. He has created web-based, self-paced training programs for TE distributors and has hosted webinars on industry solutions using light weight materials to answer the SW&P requirements in current-day electronic circuits. John shares ownership of two product design patents at TE Connectivity. Recently John has acted as college lecuturer on the subjects of Business Ethics and Modern Quality Systems, including Six Sigma/Lean methods. From early adulthood and up until the fall of 2018 John was an orchardist on a family walnut farm in Yuba City. In February, 2019 John joined his son Zach in the operations area of the realtor sign post division of Strongman Real Estate Services, a company founded on cleaning, trash hauling, landscaping, general repairs and making properties ready for sale throughout the bay area. Additionally John plays trumpet and manages a band in the San Jose area.
